Junior DevOps Engineer – Financial Technology

MAP FinTech, a leading regulatory technology solutions provider for the global financial services industry, is looking for a new DevOps Engineer to work out of our offices in either Limassol or Nicosia. This Role in a Nutshell

To improve and scale the company’s infrastructure, work with developers to automate CI/CD flows and carry out performance tests and benchmarks.

What Does Your Role Specifically Involve?

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of IT and will be expected, amongst other to:

  • Work with engineering teams on improving and scaling the company’s infrastructure.
  • Administrate monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Work with developers to automate CI/CD flows.
  • Carry out performance tests and benchmarks.
  • Use configuration management tools to automate system administration tasks.

Here Are Our Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux environments.
  • Shell scripting (bash).
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably GIT.

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Databases and SQL
  • Docker
  • CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • ELK stack
  • Experience with microservice architecture
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
